Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan

On the Frontlines of Defending Human Rights, Justice, Freedom, and Human Dignity

The Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan stand firmly committed to the universal principles of human rights. We are on the frontlines of advocating for the rights of women, minorities, and vulnerable groups in Afghanistan and across the world. We believe that human rights, social justice, fundamental freedoms, and human dignity are inalienable and universal entitlements of all individuals regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or social status.

We are particularly dedicated to supporting women who have faced discrimination, violence, and repression; minorities who have been excluded from participation in society; and all those impacted by war, forced displacement, poverty, or authoritarianism. In recent years, Afghanistan has witnessed escalating humanitarian crises and widespread violations of human rights. Our institution strives to be the voice of the silenced, to defend their rights, and to create a platform of hope, empowerment, and support.

Our mission extends beyond Afghanistan. We work in close collaboration with international institutions, human rights organizations, civil society defenders, and independent activists around the globe to amplify the call for justice, peace, and freedom. We firmly believe that through global solidarity, effective advocacy, and collective action, we can stand against oppression and build a future rooted in humanity and fairness.
