Members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan (ICSHRA) held a peaceful protest gathering in Kabul, calling for the reopening of schools and universities for Afghan girls and young women.
The protesters stated that the Taliban’s systematic suppression of women and girls is an intentional effort to paralyze the future of Afghanistan and deprive the country of its most vital human resources.
They emphasized that education is a fundamental human right and demanded immediate action from the United Nations, international community, and global human rights organizations to pressure the Taliban to reopen educational institutions for girls and restore their basic rights.

اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) در یک تجمع اعتراضی در کابل، خواستار بازگشایی مکاتب و دانشگاهها به روی دختران افغان شدند.
معترضان گفتند که طالبان با سرکوب زنان و دختران، عمداً در پی فلج کردن آینده افغانستان هستند و با محروم کردن نیمی از جامعه از تحصیل، کشور را به سوی تاریکی و نابودی سوق میدهند.
آنان تأکید کردند که آموزش حق اساسی و غیرقابل انکار انسان است و از سازمان ملل متحد، جامعه جهانی و نهادهای بینالمللی حقوق بشر خواستند تا برای بازگشایی درب مکاتب و دانشگاهها بر طالبان فشار فوری و مؤثر وارد کنند.
