The Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan (ICSHRA) declare that, in continuation of the organization’s broad advocacy and protest campaigns, today a number of members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan inside the country have raised their voices for freedom, justice, and human rights — despite facing serious security threats and life-threatening dangers.
These members have, for many years, been the strong and persistent voices of the suffering people of Afghanistan and defenders of human dignity and civil freedoms. However, today, in the shadow of international silence and negligence, these very members have been pushed toward isolation and forgetfulness.
We, the members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan, urgently call upon the United Nations, the international community, and global human rights organizations to take serious and immediate action. Today, our members and human rights defenders in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran are facing grave threats to their lives, safety, and financial security.
Are we not human beings? Are we not part of this same planet?
We urge the international community to hear our voices and to take practical and immediate measures to protect and support the true human rights defenders of Afghanistan.

نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) اعلام میدارند که در ادامه دادخواهیها و اعتراضات گسترده این نهاد، امروز شماری از اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان در داخل کشور برای دفاع از آزادی، عدالت و حقوق انسانی، با وجود تهدیدات امنیتی و خطرات جانی، صدای خود را بلند کردهاند.
این اعضا در سالهای گذشته همواره صدای رسای مردم رنجدیده و مدافع ارزشهای انسانی و آزادیهای اساسی در افغانستان بودهاند، اما امروز در سایه بیتوجهی و سکوت جامعه جهانی، خود در معرض فراموشی قرار گرفتهاند.
ما اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان از سازمان ملل متحد، جامعه جهانی و نهادهای بینالمللی حقوق بشری خواستار توجه فوری و جدی هستیم. امروز فعالان و اعضای این نهاد در افغانستان، پاکستان و ایران با تهدیدات جانی، مالی و امنیتی روبهرو هستند.
آیا ما انسان نیستیم؟ آیا ما بیرون از چارچوب این کره خاکی قرار داریم؟
ما از جامعه جهانی میخواهیم که صدای ما را بشنود و در راستای حمایت و نجات مدافعان واقعی حقوق بشر افغانستان، اقدامات عملی و فوری انجام دهد.
