Advocacy Statement by Members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan (ICSHRA)

Members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan (ICSHRA) in Kabul held an urgent advocacy action regarding the arrest of Dr. Manizha Sediqi, an active member of the institution, calling for her immediate release.
The protesters raised slogans:
“Release Manizha”
“Free Manizha”
“Manizha is under torture”
“Where is justice? Where is freedom?”
They emphasized that Dr. Manizha Sediqi is currently under severe risk of torture and ill-treatment, and that no responsible authority has acted to protect her.
The members appealed to the United Nations, the international community, and Amnesty International, asking:
How long will you remain silent in the face of these injustices? Must rivers of blood flow before attention is given?
They stressed that the international community must not remain silent while Taliban perpetrators violate human rights, arbitrarily detain civil society members, judges, lawyers, and former military personnel. Silence today contradicts all prior commitments to human rights and justice.
Members of ICSHRA reiterated that they are demanding justice, freedom, and human rights, and called for urgent and decisive international action for the immediate release of Dr. Manizha Sediqi and other detained members.

بیانیه دادخواهی اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA)

به نام عدالت، آزادی و کرامت انسانی
اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) در کابل طی دادخواهی فوری نسبت به بازداشت داکتر منیژه صدیقی، عضو فعال نهاد، خواستار آزادی فوری وی شدند.
معترضان شعارهای زیر را سر دادند:
«منیژه را رها کنید»
«منیژه را آزاد کنید»
«منیژه زیر شکنجه است»
«عدالت کجاست؟ آزادی کجاست؟»
آنها تأکید کردند که داکتر منیژه صدیقی در معرض خطر جدی شکنجه و بدرفتاری قرار دارد و تاکنون هیچ نهاد مسئول برای حفاظت از جان او اقدام نکرده است.
اعضای نهاد خطاب به سازمان ملل متحد، جامعه جهانی و عفو بینالملل پرسیدند:
تا چه زمانی در برابر این بیعدالتیها سکوت خواهید کرد؟ آیا باید سیل خون جاری شود تا توجه شما جلب گردد؟
آنها تأکید کردند که جامعه جهانی نباید در برابر نقض حقوق بشر توسط طالبان، بازداشتهای خودسرانه فعالین مدنی، قضات، وکلای مدافع و نظامیان پیشین سکوت اختیار کند؛ سکوت امروز نقض تعهدات گذشته در حمایت از حقوق بشر و عدالت است.
اعضای ICSHRA بار دیگر اعلام کردند که خواست آنان عدالت، آزادی و حقوق انسانی است و خواهان اقدام فوری و جدی بینالمللی برای آزادی فوری داکتر منیژه صدیقی و سایر اعضای بازداشتشده هستند.
