The Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan (ICSHRA) announce that two groups of women members of ICSHRA in Kabul and Takhar provinces have courageously raised their voices for justice, freedom, and human rights, demanding the immediate release of political prisoners from Taliban prisons.
Despite facing severe threats, restrictions, and intimidation, these brave women — who are among the active members of ICSHRA inside Afghanistan — have called for the freedom of all political prisoners and individuals detained for their opinions or civic activities.
They emphasized that freedom of expression and the right to peaceful protest are fundamental human rights, and that the Taliban’s continued detention of political prisoners is a clear violation of international human rights law.
The Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan (ICSHRA) strongly support the courageous stance of its women members and call upon the United Nations, international human rights organizations, and the global community to take urgent action for the release of all political prisoners and to ensure the protection of women human rights defenders across Afghanistan.

نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) اعلام میدارد که دو گروه از زنان عضو این نهاد در ولایتهای کابل و تخار با شجاعت و استقامت، صدای خود را برای عدالت، آزادی و حقوق بشر بلند کرده و خواهان آزادی فوری زندانیان سیاسی از زندانهای طالبان شدهاند.
این زنان شجاع که از اعضای فعال نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) در داخل کشور هستند، با وجود تهدیدات، فشارها و محدودیتهای شدید، خواستار آزادی تمام زندانیان سیاسی و کسانی گردیدهاند که به دلیل ابراز عقیده یا فعالیتهای مدنی بازداشت شدهاند.
آنان تأکید کردهاند که آزادی بیان و حق اعتراض مسالمتآمیز از اصول بنیادین حقوق بشر است و تداوم بازداشت زندانیان سیاسی از سوی طالبان، نقض آشکار قوانین بینالمللی حقوق بشر میباشد.
نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) از اعضای زن شجاع خود و ایستادگی آنان در برابر ظلم و تهدید حمایت کامل نموده و از سازمان ملل متحد، نهادهای بینالمللی حقوق بشر و جامعه جهانی میخواهد تا برای آزادی فوری زندانیان سیاسی در افغانستان و حمایت از زنان مدافع حقوق بشر که در شرایط سخت و تهدیدآمیز فعالیت میکنند، اقدامات فوری و مؤثر انجام دهند.
