Women protesters of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights in Afghanistan (ICSHRA) once again raise their voices against the Taliban’s ongoing oppression — this time demanding the immediate release of Mena Sediqi, a member of the ICSHRA, who has been unlawfully detained by the Taliban for 17 days.
The women protesters emphasized that the arrest and detention of Mena Sediqi is a clear violation of fundamental human rights, women’s rights, and freedom of expression.
They urged the United Nations, international human rights organizations, and global media to take urgent action for her unconditional release.
These brave women declared that no intimidation or imprisonment can silence the voices of Afghan women who continue to stand for justice, equality, and human dignity despite all threats and violence.
We call on the Taliban to immediately and unconditionally release Mena Sediqi and to stop the continued persecution of women and human rights defenders in Afghanistan.

پایان ظلم و اسارت طالبان.
بانوان معترض نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA) بار دیگر صدای خود را در برابر ظلم و ستم طالبان بلند کردند و خواستار رهایی فوری منیژه صدیقی، عضو این نهاد شدند که از ۱۷ روز به اینسو در بند طالبان قرار دارد.
بانوان معترض تأکید کردند که دستگیری و بازداشت منیژه صدیقی نقض آشکار حقوق بنیادین بشر، حقوق زنان و آزادی بیان است.
آنان از سازمان ملل متحد، نهادهای بینالمللی حقوق بشر و رسانههای جهانی خواستند تا برای رهایی فوری و بدون قید و شرط وی اقدام فوری نمایند.
این زنان شجاع اعلام کردند که هیچ زندان و تهدیدی نمیتواند صدای زنان عدالتخواه افغانستان را خاموش سازد؛ زنانی که با وجود خطرات و خشونتها، برای عدالت، برابری و کرامت انسانی ایستادهاند.
ما از طالبان میخواهیم که منیژه صدیقی را فوراً و بدون قید و شرط آزاد کنند و به سرکوب مداوم زنان و مدافعان حقوق بشر در افغانستان پایان دهند.
