Continued Protests by Women in Afghanistan and Abroad Against Taliban’s Anti-Women Policies
Interview with Sediya Haidari, Head of Women’s Affairs, Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan (ICSHRA) – Kabul
Women activists continue to protest both inside Afghanistan and abroad against the anti-women policies imposed by the Taliban.
In an interview, Sediya Haidari, Head of Women’s Affairs at ICSHRA in Kabul, emphasized that:
The Taliban systematically deny women access to education and employment;
Women are being excluded from public life and face threats to personal safety;
Afghan women activists continue to raise their voices peacefully, demanding their basic rights and equality.
She called on the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations to take urgent and concrete measures to protect women’s rights in Afghanistan and ensure that all Afghan women can live with dignity, freedom, and security.
ICSHRA reaffirms its commitment to continue advocacy and support for women’s rights, both inside Afghanistan and for Afghan women in exile.

فعالان زن در داخل افغانستان و همچنین در خارج از کشور به سیاستهای زنستیزانه طالبان اعتراض میکنند.
در گفتوگو با سدیه حیدری، مسئول امور زنان در ICSHRA کابل، او تأکید کرد که:
طالبان بهطور سیستماتیک دسترسی زنان به آموزش و کار را محدود میکنند؛
زنان از زندگی عمومی کنار گذاشته شده و با تهدیدهای امنیتی روبهرو هستند؛
فعالان زن افغان بهصورت مسالمتآمیز صدای خود را برای حقوق اولیه و برابری بلند میکنند.
سدیه حیدری از جامعه جهانی، سازمان ملل و نهادهای حقوق بشری خواست تا اقدامات فوری و عملی برای حمایت از حقوق زنان در افغانستان انجام دهند و اطمینان حاصل شود که تمام زنان افغان بتوانند با کرامت، آزادی و امنیت زندگی کنند.
ICSHRA بر ادامه حمایت و فعالیتهای دادخواهانه برای حقوق زنان، چه در داخل افغانستان و چه برای زنان افغان در تبعید، تأکید دارد.
