Introduction of Ahmad Mojtaba Mohammadi, Afghan Human Rights Defender
Ahmad Mojtaba Mohammadi, born in Parwan Province, Afghanistan, is a prominent human rights, civil society, and youth activist in Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from Danesh University and has long been actively engaged in promoting justice, women’s rights, and civic participation.
Ahmad Mojtaba Mohammadi, together with a group of his fellow students, founded the “Youth Association for the Peace Process of Parwan”, where he initially served as a leadership member and later as spokesperson. Continuing his civil engagement, he became the spokesperson of the “Council of Social Unity of the People of Parwan” and also the Head of the Youth Committee of the “United Civil Society Institutions of Parwan.”
Following the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, Mr. Mohammadi continued his protest and advocacy efforts against human rights violations by the Taliban and played an active role in organizing civil demonstrations, supporting women and minorities, and defending freedom of expression. Additionally, in Iran, he served as the official representative of the Civil Society and Human Rights Institutions of Afghanistan in Tehran, striving to raise the voice of Afghan human rights defenders at the international level.
Mr. Mohammadi has played a significant role in advocacy, human rights promotion, and youth mobilization, and his efforts have been recognized and praised by various official and civil institutions.
Currently, Ahmad Mojtaba Mohammadi serves as the responsible official and representative of the Civil Society and Human Rights Institutions of Afghanistan in Tehran, Iran, focusing on human rights advocacy, promoting civil freedoms, strengthening civil society, and supporting Afghan human rights defenders at risk.
معرفی احمد مجتبی محمدی، فعال حقوق بشر افغانستان
احمد مجتبی محمدی، متولد ولایت پروان، افغانستان، فعال برجسته حقوق بشر، جامعه مدنی و فعالیت‌های جوانان در افغانستان است. وی دارای مدرک لیسانس حقوق و علوم سیاسی از دانشگاه دانش می‌باشد و سال‌ها در زمینه ترویج عدالت، حقوق زنان و مشارکت مدنی فعالیت مستمر داشته است.
احمد مجتبی محمدی همراه با گروهی از هم‌دانشجویان خود، سازمان «انجمن جوانان برای روند صلح پروان» را تأسیس کرد و ابتدا به‌عنوان عضو رهبری و سپس سخنگو در آن فعالیت نمود. در ادامه فعالیت‌های مدنی خود، به‌عنوان سخنگوی «شورای اجتماعی وحدت مردم ولایت پروان» و همچنین رئیس کمیته جوانان «شورای متحد نهادهای جامعه مدنی پروان» منصوب شد.
پس از حاکمیت طالبان در افغانستان، آقای محمدی به فعالیت‌های اعتراضی و دادخواهانه علیه نقض حقوق بشر توسط طالبان ادامه داد و در سازماندهی اعتراضات مدنی، حمایت از زنان و اقلیت‌ها و دفاع از آزادی بیان نقش فعالی داشت. همچنین، در ایران، او به‌عنوان نماینده رسمی نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان در تهران تلاش کرد تا صدای مدافعان حقوق بشر افغانستان را در سطح بین‌المللی به گوش نهادها و سازمان‌های مدنی برساند.
آقای محمدی نقش مؤثری در دادخواهی، ترویج حقوق بشر و بسیج جوانان داشته و تلاش‌های او توسط نهادهای رسمی و مدنی مختلف مورد تقدیر قرار گرفته است.
در حال حاضر، احمد مجتبی محمدی به‌عنوان مسئول و نماینده رسمی نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان در تهران، ایران فعالیت می‌کند و همچنان بر حمایت از حقوق بشر، ترویج آزادی‌های مدنی، تقویت جامعه مدنی و حمایت از مدافعان حقوق بشر افغان در معرض خطر تمرکز دارد.
