Islamabad, Pakistan – 29/30 September 2025
A two-day international dialogue titled “Towards Unity and Trust” commenced in Islamabad, Pakistan, bringing together prominent Afghan civil society leaders, women’s rights defenders, and representatives of political parties. The conference aims to foster regional cooperation and develop a constructive roadmap for Afghanistan’s political future.
This forum is organized by Women for Afghanistan and the South Asia Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) and provides a platform for Afghan and Pakistani stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on political, social, and human rights challenges.
Key participants include:
Fawzia Koofi, Former Member of the Afghan Parliament
Mustafa Mastur, Former Minister of Economy of Afghanistan
Nasir Ahmad Andisheh, Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations in Geneva
Ahmadullah Alizi, Former Governor of Kabul
Taher Zahir, Former Governor of Bamyan
The conference had been postponed on multiple occasions due to Taliban opposition.
Ezatullah Bakhshi, human rights defender and Chief Executive Officer of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan (ICSHRA), attended as the official representative of ICSHRA. His participation emphasized the pivotal role of Afghan civil society in promoting human rights, democratic governance, and regional dialogue, particularly in the absence of official government representation from Afghanistan.
This event underscores the commitment of Afghan civil society to advocating for justice, equality, and inclusive political solutions amid ongoing humanitarian and political crises in the country.

اسلامآباد، پاکستان – 29/30 سپتامبر ۲۰۲۵
نشست دو روزه تحت عنوان «بهسوی وحدت و اعتماد» در اسلامآباد، پاکستان آغاز شد و جمعی از رهبران برجسته جامعه مدنی، مدافعان حقوق زنان و نمایندگان احزاب سیاسی افغانستان در آن حضور یافتند. هدف این نشست، تقویت همکاری منطقهای و ترسیم راهبردی سازنده برای آینده سیاسی افغانستان است.
این رویداد توسط نهاد زنان برای افغانستان و انستیتوت ثبات راهبردی آسیای جنوبی (SASSI) برگزار شده و بستری برای گفتوگوهای سازنده میان نمایندگان افغانستان و پاکستان در حوزههای سیاسی، اجتماعی و حقوق بشری فراهم میآورد.
از جمله شرکتکنندگان برجسته میتوان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد:

مصطفا مستور، وزیر سابق اقتصاد افغانستان
نصیراحمد اندیشه، نماینده دایمی افغانستان در سازمان ملل در ژنو
احمدالله علیزی، والی سابق کابل
طاهر زهیر، والی سابق بامیان
این نشست پیشتر به دلیل مخالفتهای طالبان چندین بار به تعویق افتاده بود.
عزتالله بخشی، فعال حقوق بشر و مدیرعامل نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان (ICSHRA)، به نمایندگی رسمی از ICSHRA در این نشست حضور یافت. مشارکت ایشان نقش محوری جامعه مدنی افغانستان در ترویج حقوق بشر، حاکمیت قانون و گفتوگوهای منطقهای، به ویژه در غیاب نمایندگان رسمی دولت افغانستان، را برجسته ساخت.
این رویداد نشاندهنده تعهد جامعه مدنی افغانستان به دادخواهی، برابری و ارائه راهحلهای سیاسی فراگیر است، حتی در شرایط بحرانی سیاسی و انسانی جاری در کشور.
