The two-day dialogue “Regional Discourse: Towards Unity and Trust” commenced in Islamabad, bringing together prominent Afghan civil society leaders, human rights defenders, and representatives of political opposition groups.
According to sources attending the meeting, participants called for the establishment of a political office in Pakistan for Afghan opposition groups to strengthen coordination and provide a platform for political representation.
Ezatullah Bakhshi, human rights defender and participant in the session, told Oxus TV that this discussion was highlighted on the first day of the conference. He emphasized the focus on identifying areas of cooperation between Afghan and Pakistani elites to foster understanding, coordination, and a unified framework for achieving peace, stability, and a rule-based system grounded in popular sovereignty.
The dialogue aims to create a shared vision for Afghanistan’s political future, promote regional collaboration, and define guiding principles for an inclusive, democratic, and law-based governance structure.

نشست دو روزه «گفتمان منطقهای بهسوی وحدت و اعتماد» در اسلامآباد آغاز شد و جمعی از رهبران جامعه مدنی، فعالان حقوق بشر و نمایندگان جریانهای مخالف طالبان در آن حضور یافتند.
به گفته منابع حاضر در نشست، شرکتکنندگان خواستار ایجاد دفتر سیاسی برای گروههای مخالف طالبان در پاکستان شدند تا هماهنگی تقویت شود و بستری برای حضور و نمایندگی سیاسی فراهم گردد.
عزتالله بخشی، فعال حقوق بشر و یکی از اشتراککنندگان نشست، به اکسوس تیوی گفت که این موضوع در نخستین روز اجلاس مطرح شد و تأکید بر شناسایی زمینههای همکاری میان نخبگان افغانستان و پاکستان بود تا درک مشترک، هماهنگی و چارچوب واحدی برای دستیابی به صلح، ثبات و نظام قانونمند مبتنی بر حاکمیت مردم ایجاد شود.
هدف این گفتمان، ترسیم چشماندازی مشترک برای آینده سیاسی افغانستان، تقویت همکاری منطقهای و تعریف اصول راهنما برای حاکمیت فراگیر، دموکراتیک و مبتنی بر قانون است.
