Protest and Advocacy Program by Members of Afghanistan Civil Society and Human Rights Organizations

Members of the Afghanistan Civil Society and Human Rights Organizations, along with women’s rights activists and civil society representatives, held a protest near the Russian Embassy in Islamabad in response to the Russian Federation’s recognition of the Taliban regime.
Protesters stated that Russia has officially recognized a “terrorist” group.
Participants raised their voices with slogans, including:
“The Taliban commit crimes, Russia supports them.”
The protest aimed to denounce the legitimization of the Taliban, defend the rights of Afghan women, and urge the international community to stand against the normalization of a violent, oppressive regime.

اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان، بههمراه فعالان حقوق زنان و نمایندگان جامعه مدنی، در نزدیکی سفارت روسیه در اسلامآباد تجمع اعتراضی برگزار کردند. این اقدام در واکنش به تصمیم فدراسیون روسیه برای بهرسمیت شناختن رژیم طالبان صورت گرفت.
معترضان اعلام کردند که روسیه یک گروه «تروریستی» را بهرسمیت شناخته است.
شرکتکنندگان شعارهایی سر دادند، از جمله:
«طالبان جنایت میکند، روسیه حمایت میکند.»
هدف این تجمع محکومیت مشروعیتبخشی به طالبان، دفاع از حقوق زنان افغانستان و فراخواندن جامعه جهانی به مقابله با عادیسازی یک رژیم سرکوبگر و خشونتطلب بود.
