15 August: A Dark Day in the History of Afghanistan
The people of Afghanistan held public protests in Islamabad, Pakistan, to mark 15 August as a dark day in Afghan history. Members of our civil society and human rights organization also actively participated in the demonstrations, showing solidarity with the Afghan people.
The demonstrators denounced the Taliban as a terrorist group and emphasized that “The Taliban are not ours, Afghanistan is not alone.” They expressed their rejection of the ongoing oppression, suppression of women and girls, and systematic violations of human rights under the Taliban regime.
The protests highlighted the continued struggle of Afghan civil society and the diaspora in Pakistan to defend the rights, freedom, and dignity of Afghan citizens, with our members playing an active role in raising awareness and mobilizing the community.
اعتراضات مردمی در اسلام آباد پاکستان
۱۵ آگوست: روز سیاه در تاریخ افغانستان
مردم افغانستان در اسلام آباد پاکستان دست به اعتراض زدند تا ۱۵ آگوست را به عنوان روزی سیاه در تاریخ افغانستان یادآوری کنند. اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری ما نیز در این اعتراضات سهم فعال داشتند و با مردم افغانستان همبستگی نشان دادند.
معترضان گروه طالبان را یک گروه تروریستی دانستند و تأکید کردند که «طالبان از ما نیست، افغانستان تنها نیست». آنها سرکوب مداوم، محرومیت زنان و دختران و نقض سیستماتیک حقوق بشر تحت حاکمیت طالبان را محکوم کردند.
این اعتراض نشاندهنده مبارزه ادامهدار جامعه مدنی افغانستان و مهاجرین در پاکستان برای دفاع از حقوق، آزادی و کرامت مردم افغانستان است که اعضای نهاد ما نیز نقش فعالی در آگاهیرسانی و بسیج جامعه ایفا کردند.
