Resolution of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan Against the Offensive Remarks of Ms. Khalilzad and Planned Protest in Islamabad, Pakistan
We, the members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan, express our deep anger and shock as we strongly condemn the disgraceful and insulting remarks made by Ms. Khalilzad — statements in which she shamelessly absolved the Taliban of responsibility for stripping women of their rights.
These words are not only a blatant lie but a betrayal of the pain and suffering of millions of Afghan women and girls who are forced to breathe in the darkness of Taliban extremism and misogyny. How can someone who claims to be informed so shamelessly deny these painful truths?
Ms. Khalilzad! Have you closed your eyes, or sold your conscience?
Afghan women today are imprisoned by the Taliban’s version of Sharia — deprived of education, work, travel, choice of clothing, voice, and even the right to live with dignity.
With these statements, you have not only attempted to whitewash the bloodstained face of the Taliban, but you have also added salt to the wounds of oppressed women.
We consider these remarks to be clear complicity with the machinery of suppression and humiliation of women.
We cry out: Do not bury the truth! Do not sell lies to the people wrapped in glitter!
Silence in the face of this crime, and justifying it with lies, is complicity with the criminals.
Planned Protest:
In response to these offensive statements, members of the Institutions of Civil Society and Human Rights of Afghanistan will organize a peaceful protest in Islamabad, Pakistan. The protest aims to raise awareness about the ongoing human rights violations by the Taliban, amplify the voices of Afghan women, and demand accountability for those who attempt to normalize or justify Taliban atrocities. All participants will adhere to nonviolent principles and call for international solidarity with Afghan women.
We will not be silent until freedom returns to this land.

قطعنامه نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان در مخالفت با اظهارات توهینآمیز خانم خلیلزاد و اعلام برنامه اعتراض در اسلامآباد، پاکستان
ما، اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان، با خشم و حیرت عمیق، اظهارات سخیف و توهینآمیز خانم خلیلزاد را محکوم میکنیم؛ سخنانی که در آن با بیشرمی تمام، طالبان را از سلب حقوق زنان تبرئه کردهاند.
این حرفها نهتنها دروغی آشکار، بلکه خیانتی به درد و رنج میلیونها زن و دختر افغان است که در تاریکی تحجر و زنستیزی طالبان نفس میکشند. چگونه ممکن است کسی که ادعای آگاهی دارد، چنین واقعیتهای سوزناک را انکار کند؟
خانم خلیلزاد! آیا چشمانتان را بستهاید یا وجدانتان را فروختهاید؟
زنان افغان امروز در زندان شریعت طالبانی محبوساند؛ از آموزش، کار، سفر، انتخاب لباس، بیان صدا و حتی حق زیستن با عزت محروماند.
شما با این سخنان نهتنها تلاش کردهاید چهره خونآلود طالبان را تطهیر کنید، بلکه بر زخمهای زنان ستمدیده نمک پاشیدهاید.
ما این اظهارات را همدستی آشکار با ماشین سرکوب و تحقیر زنان میدانیم.
ما فریاد میزنیم: حقیقت را دفن نکنید! دروغ را با زرق و برق به مردم نفروشید!
سکوت در برابر این جنایت و توجیه آن با دروغ، همدستی با جانیان است.
برنامه اعتراض:
در واکنش به این اظهارات توهینآمیز، اعضای نهادهای جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشری افغانستان در اسلامآباد، پاکستان، یک اعتراض مسالمتآمیز برگزار خواهند کرد. هدف از این اعتراض، آگاهسازی جامعه بینالمللی نسبت به نقض مداوم حقوق بشر توسط طالبان، تقویت صدای زنان افغان، و درخواست پاسخگویی برای کسانی است که تلاش میکنند چهره طالبان را عادی و مشروع نشان دهند. همه شرکتکنندگان بر اصول عدم خشونت پایبند خواهند بود و از همبستگی بینالمللی با زنان افغانستان حمایت خواهند کرد.
ما تا روزی که آزادی به این سرزمین بازگردد، ساکت نخواهیم ماند.
